Playoff Pool etiquette

A quick reminder to all. Please be aware the preferred method for submitting picks is, and always has been, email. Alternate methods of submitting picks should be used only when absolutely necessary! When emailing, please be clear. Suggest putting each pick on a separate line. Indicate bullets and over/unders clearly. Try not to use tiny font sizes (14 pt. or larger works!) Also, please avoid sending your picks 'piecemeal' in multiple emails. (some of you still haven't gotten the memo on this!) It should only require one email per week to send your picks. Not a requirement....it just helps. Lastly, BE ON TIME! Avoid sending your picks last minute. I like to have everyone accounted-for in plenty of time to watch the games.

Week 1 Recap

Congratulations to Team Blacktoes who posts a record of 9-2 to win the 150 pool prize for week 1. The Terrible T tops the leaderboard with a record of 6-1, but did not have the requisite 9 plays to be eligible to win the weekly prize. Huey (8-2) rounds out the top 3. Another 150 up for grabs in week 2. Who wants it?

Week 2 Recap

The Terrible T went 3-4 in week 2 but retains the top spot in the pool with an overall record of 9-5 (.643). Harvard of the South goes 4-3 and moves up to second place with an overall record of 10-6 (.625). Swinging Johnson and Team Blacktoes share a tie of the 3rd place position with identical 11-8 overall records (.579). Congrats to Swinging Johnson who takes home the 150 for best record (7-3) in week 2. Way to go SJ!

Week 3 Recap

All Terrible T, all night long! TTT goes 5-2 in week 3 and hangs onto the #1 position in the pool with an overall record of 14-7 (.667), mere percentage points ahead of Harvard of the South, who posts a 4-2 in week 3 for an overall mark of 14-8 (.636). Dev/Trev comes from back in the pack to move into the #3 position with a record of 13-9 (.591). Swinging Johnson (13-10), Imphishy (12-10) and Shaver (12-10) remain in the hunt heading into the final week. Good luck all!

Congratulations to Dev/Trev and Shaver who both post perfect 5-0 records to earn a 2-way split of the 150 prize for week 3. (75 each) In all, 21 of 33 players have the needed 1 over/under and (at least) 1 bullet left to be eligible to win the 150 for week 4.

Final Recap

The (not so) Terrible T led from wire to wire in this year's pool and wins going away with a record of 18-7. Outstanding!

Swinging Johnson and Harvard of the South finish in a dead heat with identical 15-10 records to share a tie for the 2nd and 3rd place positions. Fantastic job by both! Congratulatuins to The Terrible T, Big Chalupa, Camazing123 and SFior who all put up perfect 4-0 records in week 4 and will enjoy a 4-way split of the final weekly prize of the year. (37 each) Way to go!
